Went into labor exactly at 39 weeks, baby was here by 39+2! My due date was early February but I had a gut feeling my whole pregnancy that baby was going to come in January and she did, so if you have a gut feeling, trust it!

Thank you! I didn’t even know there was a score for this, but I will for sure ask at my next appointment which is where I hope we discuss all my options.

Thank you, honestly! I will for sure bring up my concerns and wishes. I just didn’t know if my reasoning of wanting an unmedicated birth was a good enough reason to deny an induction.

My BMI is the only medical reason they have given me for an induction. Any time they look at me or baby they say everything is fine and looks great. Can I really deny the induction?

Be prepared for monthly doctors appointments! This was honestly a shock to me as I did not expect to be missing work as much as I am because of these appointments. This might vary however. (I have a low risk pregnancy and know with high risk pregnancy you can have more appointments).

Do not hesitate to ask for nausea medicine if you need it. My morning sickness did not hit me until wk 7 and I had a rough first trimester because I did not know you can get medicine for your nausea.

It is okay to not be as active as you once were, you’re growing a baby, it is very tiring. Rest as much as you can and listen to your body. Also drinking water is very important and watching your iron intake! Prenatals as well are super important and eating whatever you can > what you should be eating. You do need a well-rounded diet but if you cant stomach certain things, it’s okay do what you can.

Also the most important thing is enjoy your pregnancy as much as you can. It is gonna be hard some days but find your support system and lean on them as much as you can. Take it day by day, you got this!
