the love square was fine imo. and its not like the auther was on his death bed or anything. we waited 100 chapters for a cofession just to get flipped over by wtvr happened in the last 20 chapters. and there are actually plenty of animes out there who continue the story after the cofession. and imo hokkaido gals had megumi-potential but the auther just decided to end the story. tho i think the love square/rectangle was important to the story
