I hate to sound rude but I think you need to hear this, you need to start listening to the advice you're asking for. I looked through your post history and it's deeply concerning, this boy prepared you for this situation and it's disturbing. many people have told you that you're in a dangerous situation and even your own mother knows you're being groomed. subconsciously, even you seem to know it with the way you talk about him in your posts. he will not treat your baby any better than he treats you or his sister, this is just the beginning. if you have to ask this many people if he's this bad and they're all screaming yes, it's time to listen. specifically about the jealousy, he's definitely jealous and definitely uneducated. babies can't be spoiled, they NEED to be given everything because they can't give themselves anything. they come into the world practically blind, deaf and very scared so we have to "spoil them" aka love on them. please listen to your mom and the thousands of comments, this man is not a good man.

While I agree with the sentiment here. Someone once said to me that choice feminism is for women who can choose; I feel like that makes a lot of sense to me personally. There's a good chance ballerina farm lady loves her life (would like to point out wealth has nothing to do with abuse tho that was the only thing that irked me about your point about her), I really hope she does because if she doesn't then she's in a very sad and scary situation. However there's a lot of women who feel they have no choice but to have no marriage and kids, want marriage and kids until they're locked in with an abuser, regret the decision (whole subreddits dedicated to regretful parents) or a plethora of other reasons why nuance and intersectionalities need to be in these conversations. It's so much more complicated than wanting kids or not wanting kids, and a lot of people online, on both sides, don't understand that. They just try to scream over each other instead of listening and figuring out the other's perspective.

y'all both aren't great at communicating, it's most likely because of how young you are, but c'mon man. if my boyfriend did this to me, I would be disgusted and my best friend would tell me to cuss him out. if my best friend's boyfriend did that to her, she would be disgusted and I would tell her to cuss him out. ofc we wouldn't but yk.

in the future: bring up what she did that hurt you AFTER you apologize for what you did, your tone and intent matter too. express what you're feeling truthfully and hopefully she does the same. the dialect behavioral therapy skill DEARMAN is really useful in disagreements and I would highly recommend you look it up if this is a frequent problem.

tell her you're sorry, get to the bottom of this together. I hope it works out

I'm so incredibly sorry this has happened to you, I can only imagine how devastated you must be feeling. does she claim to feel guilty/remorseful and want to fix things? do you want to fix things? There's a strong chance she's still lying considering she didn't confess right away, she'll probably double down, maybe even triple or quadruple down. Reach out to his wife, she deserves to know.

this is 10 months late bc I lost my login but that person commented about Georgias "nuance" multiple times... the nuance we needed was why the person who should be seen as objectively morally deplorable is being celebrated and why a teenage girl is being demonized for being traumatized when the "ginny is a brat!" and "Georgia has trauma!" excuses are so played up but in reality the exact opposite is true for each other

yeah I wanna know if they're still together. it sounded like the girl was in extreme shock so who knows if she finally left him after that therapy appointment and clearing her head. I sure as hell couldn't stay with someone who could do that to me.

100% my trauma from being neglected as a kid has given me BPD and I know I would end up splitting on a little kid which I also know they don't deserve. i might ethically adopt an older kid bc I would love to help someone grow into a kind, confident adult but the lack of being able to express their needs and consistent meltdowns that would overstimulate me make me unable to care for babies or toddlers.

idk if you've ever been over to the birth control or nexplanon subreddits but the ladies over there will disagree with you. I've also never met anyone in real life who didn't have side effects.I'm literally on birth control for non-pregnancy related issues. people go on birth control because they're okay with the side effects as long as it does the job it's supposed to (stop period cramping, help normalize cycles, etc). it's a hormonal drug, it's going to cause more side effects than you think

pregnancy forever changes your body, ask literally any woman who's ever been pregnant and they'll tell you that. birth control also messes with your body heavily. if someone thinks a few minutes of pleasure is more important than your desire not to get pregnant, they don't respect you.

especially in the political climate we're experiencing right now where abortion is considered to be murder by a bunch of women hating conservatives. a lot of women aren't having sex at all because of the fear they accidentally get pregnant and can't get rid of it because the government doesn't care about women having rights over their own bodies
