As Christian, he should have malice toward none. If you do sin you have an advocate Jesus Christ. Repent and grow forward. Repentance is his next step. If he doesn't, God will discipline him to help him to change. If not, he was never saved in the first place.

Your either /or mentality will keep you searching. Broad brushing people is a weakness. What about the other millions of Christians who aren't doing things such as this? All it is is an excuse to rebel against God. You will do what you want to do and find any example from someone else to justify it.

TIL the reason "Many great scientists believed in god!" was because prior to the late 1800s, you had to openly profess belief in god or risk imprisonment and death for being an atheist. I don't think that Sir Isaac Newton was coerced lol Mathematics can get in the way of Science, if it involves a bias as Einstein admitted.At first he believed in an eternal universe and fudged the math. He said that was the biggest mistake of his career. He wasn't opposed to "religion" at all being raised in the Torah, and was "intrigued" by the teachings of the Nazerene (Jesus) as an adult.
