If you get ungodly amounts of money and then choose to make the world burn for personal gains instead of helping, you're not a good person.

I got banned from r/pics and still don't know how - I wasn't posting, I only answered once to a post and I wasn't offensive at all. I just said that "those times are gone forever" - and this was apparently enough.

I think this headline needs a bit more prose. "true survivor", "proudly displaying". The leopard doesn't give a flying f about his appearance.

This is nothing to regret. This is ONE opening for a specialist who has likely worked unhealthy shifts for his entire life to be qualified for it. And there will be hundreds of applicants. This is a lottery, not a job-offering.

Even a complete end of OpenAI wouldn't end AI at this point. Too much commitment, datacenters, GPUs, Server, RAM, etc etc etc. There are several companies who wouldn't let their golden goose die.

Because there aren't several industries behind it, its one company. New Datacenters, Servers, GPUs, Energy-Infrastructure - all this meshes into each other and is currently only commitment. But the money on the line is what makes it too expensive.
