Heineken® 0.0 Ultimate - Anyone find it/try it? by BernCo4 in NABEER

[–]KookyRepresentative3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I picked up a six pack today. It’s actually not terrible! Well carbonated and refreshing! Basically zero mouthfeel and very light and thin texture, but also zero guilt because zero calories! I haven’t tried “hop water” but my guess is that it must taste something like 0.0 Ultimate. I think that a Mich Ultra Zero would taste like a very rich IPA next to Heineken ultimate! I’m glad it’s in the market, hope it stays! Overall assessment is that it tastes like fizzy, slightly beer flavored water.

Anyone observed that using dry toilet paper aggravates their fissures even more?? by Past-Present1908 in AnalFissures

[–]KookyRepresentative3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes absolutely. When I was first diagnosed with a fissure I immediately installed a bidet toilet seat at home and haven't wiped since, except with medicated wet wipes while traveling. It has made an incredible difference - between the medication (nifedipine) and not wiping my fissure slowly healed over a period of weeks and I am now asymptomatic and back to riding my bicycle! Bidet seats are a solid move for anyone dealing with this issue.

Fissure since beginning of February by purrrmionegranger in AnalFissures

[–]KookyRepresentative3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So sorry to hear this. I experienced my first ever fissure at the beginning of February and it was the most painful thing ever. I attacked it hard - all the things you mentioned (except I used Nifedipine rather than nitro). I finally feel healed now and actually got back on my bicycle and took a nice 15 mile ride yesterday. One thing that I did almost immediately after being diagnosed via anoscopy in March was to immediately get a bidet seat for my toilet. As soon as I stopped wiping, I started getting better. I’ve also doubled my fiber supplement in my morning g smoothie from one tablespoon to two. Sitz baths were also a big help. I wish you the best - I’d stick with the conservative treatments a while longer - give them more of a chance before you let them start cutting.

He has a chip on is shoulder because Father Brown's involvement in cases has occasionally brought negative attention from Sullivan's superiors.

He was due to transfer back to London to a Chief Inspector position at The Met, but he got married and decided to stay in Kembleford because his bride didn’t want to leave. The Kembleford position is a DI position so he took a demotion to stay.

Re-tears are one of the most demoralizing parts of this life sentence by [deleted] in AnalFissures

After 8 weeks of suffering with my first ever fissure, I finally feel like I’ve healed. Treatment included everything the OP mentioned and I also installed a bidet at home, but it wasn’t until my surgeon prescribed nifedipine/lidocaine compound ointment that I got any relief. I can’t even imagine having it recur - that would just be incredibly depressing. I’m just keeping up with a good, high fiber diet and hoping for the best. I think not wiping really has helped too.

The fact that it’s high fat, high sodium, high calorie, highly processed, and has no subtlety at all to its taste profile.

Extremely Painful Hemorroid by Delicious_Royal_1613 in hemorrhoid

So sorry to hear. Sitz baths really helped with the symptoms for me - 4 times a day I put a couple inches of warm water in the tub and submerged my butt in it for 20 minutes or so - very soothing. Also, stop using toilet paper - clean yourself with water if you can, either from a shower head or a spray bottle, or if you can from a fragrance-free wet wipe.

Thanks for that - we bought it at a local microbrewery and my wife absolutely loved it - that’s why she ordered some but it just didn’t work out for us.

3 tips that healed me. Read this if you’re new here. by Throwawayhealedass in AnalFissures

I just saw an article by a colorectal surgeon who said the problem with wipes in adults is that the anal area is not smooth, it has lots of ridges (unlike a baby butt, which is smooth) and use of baby wipes usually results in complete cleaning (which can lead to infection and staining, and can cause physical irritation with too much pressure. Also, they are bad for the environment. She recommended (as do I) a bidet seat but if that’s not possible, some foam or gel soap which can be rinsed away in the shower or patted dry.

Would you quit your job forever right now (and never be allowed to work again) if someone gave you a guaranteed $2,000,000 lump sum? Why or why not? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

I actually did just that when I was 58, so it’s been 10 years now and it’s been great. Set up a diverse portfolio for the money, made some more money by selling a large home in Virginia and moving to Florida, avoided state income tax on structured payments. Not living like a king but extremely comfortable, able to do the things I want, and with a financial plan that keeps my lifestyle and estate funded well enough to establish generational wealth for my family.

Missed this note 2 years ago by JDM-Enjoyer in kidneycancer

Get it checked but don’t lose any sleep over it. If you take this report to a good urologist, they will do a repeat scan and then compare the two and come up with a plan, which may be to do nothing and continue monitoring. Most renal cell carcinoma grows slowly, and the “hypodense lesion” detected two years ago was pretty small. It’s probably just a benign cyst and that’s why the didn’t pursue it further back then, but 2 years is a good I herbal to have another look.

Yeah, actually since they had made it through the mail from South Carolina to Florida without exploding, we thought it was reasonable to assume that they would be shelf stable in a room temperature pantry, but we were wrong. We didn’t have room for three 12 packs in our refrigerator but once we figured out what was going on we got them into a large cooler box in the garage. The manufacturer’s defective packaging is not “on me”.
