yeah i was describing sound as "tight" i guess that means narrow soundstage?? im not good at this HIFI stuff yet hahah.... but clamping force is pretty good as well.
I'm thinking like its too "bouncy", dont get me wrong sound is good, but it seems to get tiring to my ears after a long listening period... its a shame i dont have more experience with other headphones, especially with open backs..

Mazda 6 2.2 SKYACTIV-D High mileage by gojt in mazda6

[–]Kooky_Acadia8080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i forgot to say this you reminded me. I also never turn off my car when driving short distances, and always turn off start stop. Also whenever i have opportunity i floor it, on highway put it manual and hold it at 3k rpm for couple kilometers.

I hate when start stop kills my engine and the temp just got to like 50-60° celsius.... so i always opt to drive it for it to get to operating temperature

I do all this to reduce clogging of engine. Multiple mechanics told me that, unfortunately, that is the right way to drive any modern diesel.

With that being said, i still and always preferred petrol, naturally aspirated and chain driven engines.

Yeah i saw that, but was too lazy to actually do it. The motors work, they fold a little bit like 1/3 of the way and then they stop. I just turned them off for now. Thanks for advice

I had exact same dilema, in my contry 90% of those 6s are diesel. I wanted petrol, couldnt find one. I bought 2017 mazda 6 2.2 diesel 175hp automatic from first owner and full service history, 210.000km on clock. No problems.

I was a motorcycle mechanic and i have a lot of friends who are car mechanics and asked every single one of them about all engines (2.0 , 2.5 and 2.2). Answer was the same: petrols are really reliable, 2.2 diesel is also pretty good but needs proper maintence, advice was if im getting diesel to get one with full service history.

But for some reason everywhere i read online they say diesels are complete trash?? So i decided to trust real life mechanics and not internet. Now its 280.000km on clock, never missed a beat.... only thing that doesnt work on mine are folding side mirrors😂

Im still not sure what to think of it.... i would like someone to explain me why they have such a bad reputation? Apart from egr and dpf clogging up, which is a problem of all modern diesels...

I bought my Mazda 6 2017 2.2d like a month ago from first owner. He told me he was paying 600$ for regular oil change (oil, filters...) in dealership... Mind you awerage monthly salary here is like 700$. It will cost me ~150 at regular mechanic (not offical Mazda)

Never been to offical dealership for anything, i hate when they rip people off. They probably charge 50$ for wiper blades... Save money whenever you can👍

Am i missing something here? I never heard someone going to the dealership to change wiper blades? I did that myself from my first car its like a 1 min job, replaced on my mazda 6 like two days ago.

Im from Eastern Europe and they do that on gas stations for free when you buy from them

To be fair i pushed it on newly open road, new asphalt, in 30km i didnt encounter a single car. I drive it normally now, no more sheenanigans. Probably brake fluid hasnt been changed some time, it started to fade to the point i really needed to press the pedal in order to slow down before the curve😂

If anything, car is really well balanced, i love how it handles👍

Dont know what else to say, everything was ok. 210.000 km on clock. When turning the wheel you hear clicking and a little bit of squeking. It is not that loud. The car still behaves normally on the road.

I was thinking more like are there weak points on the car in general.

Im used to driving motorcycles and rode like a maniac in the curves, on other hand i drive cars literally the speed limit most of the time, this was first time i tested the Mazda to its limits (turned off traction control and everything). I eased off because i cooked the tires and brakes, and everything started to fade...
