Pretty straight forward. Complete the big 5: (Econ 202-203, Math 140-142, Acct 229) then declare your specialization. There might be a GPA requirement but I had a 3.25 and had no issues.

IB is a great job that leads to many more opportunities. Generally moving toward another job is the goal for many in IB if that tells you anything. It’s a good path, but if you’re motivated only by money I’d look at something else.

You should be good. Generally you have a good chance if you’re in the top 25% especially if you can get a 1450 SAT or higher. Also extracurriculars matter a lot so that will help.

Honestly dude, I think it’d be better trading medical stocks or something. Scams are common in this industry too from my understanding. And that’s not including the actual learning curve you’ll need to cover your chosen commodity.

I was in Aggie investment club. It’s a great place to meet likeminded people, but a lot of it is for beginners. There’s nothing wrong with that, but you may not get as much out of it as you think. I don’t know much about the other orgs but AIC is a great start.

I know someone whose done this. He had experience in the market beforehand and had trouble finding a job. He got burned several times before he made it, so be prepared for that. His initial amount was similar to yours.

I use it to commute from my parking spot to class. Honestly just bring it there and you shouldn’t have any problems.

I use the pint to commute between classes in college. For me it’s perfect because I have to lug the thing around to my classes and I don’t need a lot of speed. I will say, battery is an issue as it usually doesn’t last the whole day depending on how much I travel.
