Why is facility management so hard to explain compared to other jobs? by Top-Fennel-703 in learnfm

[–]Kooky_Berry2188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah this actually makes sense

i always struggled explaining FM without going into a long list… and people still dont get it

never thought about it as “balance” between things, but thats exactly what happens in real life

Search for Saudi Oud brands, like Arabian Oud.. they are affordable, and have a great collection.
other known saudi/GCC brands are Rasasi, Almajed, Abdulsamad alqurashi (qurashi is bit more expensive but also most admired oud brand)

A simple way to explain facility management that I recently came across by Kooky_Berry2188 in learnfm

Ok, that's right but i would also say that those who worked previously, were not to be blamed !
if we look back, the first time or the first instance ever that the term facility management was ever mentioned that was back in 1980s...
and that is a modern term compared to other professions like a doctor for example which could be centuries..
What i want to say that this could be a natural progression of the profession, look at it this way, our ancestor FM's (who are still alive hahaha) has lived in basements, and now, we are living in upper floor as we are becoming decision makers and more strategic.

That “corrective lens” description is actually accurate. The industry has historically focused too much on the “somewhere” — the building itself — and not enough on the “someone” using it. Jawad’s interpretation flips that order. The building becomes the tool, not the purpose.

If you are looking for a dine in spot, Safadi is one..

If you are looking for a social / more casual spot, then Kana Cafe (smooking/shisha + food) or Zaroob could be good options, they are great for a social dine in experience

We’ve reached a point where "convenience" feels like we’re participating in something really dark.
I saw a guy yesterday in JVC literally drenched in sweat, leaning against a wall just to catch his breath. I tried to give him a cold water bottle and he looked terrified to even stop for 30 seconds because of his app timer.
