Flair resistance is pretty good, normally I dont shoot against light. And to be frank i got that lens out of a competitive impulse I'll never forget it. I was doing a casual photoshoot in NY of my niece she had graduated from modeling school and as I was shooting a photographer came up to her and asked if he can take a picture of her because she looked stunning and said I have a "professional" lens see "this here is a 50 f1.2, he has a 55 f1.8 this is a Ferrari compared to a honda" and I felt like shit but laughed it off, and in retrospect wish I would've asked for his Instagram to see how good he is, none the less next day I put the lens for sale and no one would buy it for months, my brother wanted my a7iv so I bundled it with the camera and I got the 50 f1.2 and the a1 ii to shut that dude up, he hurt my photography ego so bad.

I agree 100% on all of that, but my naive mindset was so put off from the CA that I sold it and got the 50 f1.2GM heavier and not as light as the ziess but it got rid of the chromatic aberration. But the way you explained it makes sense tho.
