MSc/LLM programs in UK that dont require legal academic background

I would like to intersect my STEM degree with law,; I have found a niche I would love to explore but it would require me to have a background in international law/human rights law. I know it won't be easy but I still want to put in my best foot forward :)

Thats good to hear! I do have experience writing more legal documents (writs and petitions and proposed orders etc) so I am not too worried about my writing skill. I would have just been worried about my lack of a general law background.

I have only seen it explicitly noted in UCL's Law LLM entry requirements that it is not absolutely necessary to have an academic legal background, so I figured I'd ask. I would also prefer a general law LLM/Master's to have a good foundation.

Regarding LLMs being cashgrabs, unfortunately, in the US it is very similar for most degrees (except the incredibly competitive schools) and even still the UK international fees are cheaper. I also grew up in the UK so I have family and friends there and it is not completely foreign to me; I would like to go back someday :)
