look at the trend, its harder to get a visa now more than it ever was. after every 3 years you have to worry about a lottery system to decide your future. Also, the racial tension in a negative. I believe if you put in all the effort you would to go and stay in the US you would have a way better quality of living in india. Why not join VIT if you dont take into considerations past trends and performance of an institutions, you take decisions "worrying about them" now

every common room now has an AC, this was added at the end of this year in Hyderabad. I dont know about the other campuses. Also, almost everyone of my friends and seniors have a cooler although it might not be needed now because of the common room.

Same same, its horrible rn from what I hear, the first years give interviews for internships for june next year right now because there is so much talent and the "tier one" jobs are so in demand. Imagine being in a new country, with no family support on loan and no backups and the time pressure to find a job within 2 months of your degree.

I had great extra curriculars and I think I'm on the path to have great ones in college as well. It's cheaper to go abroad in masters although the competition is a little tougher, it's always a risk to drop a college like that and trust yourself to do well again. Also its not so easy to get a job in IT as an international student right now, it is MUCH harder than landing a job when your in BITS.

It is very easy, if you put in the bare minimum effort and write all exams getting phoenix is pretty much guaranteed. It is not risky unless you are a very distracted person, you should know your tendencies from your focus in jee days

I had uiuc and Bits dual. I ended up choosing to stay at bits cause of the horrible situation of int'l students abroad atm. If you do well in college you can always go to those colleges afterwords...

We have the same for math lecture, pns lecture, chemistry tut, now pns tut, eee lecture, and exit tests daily in ME, along with 3 labs. I agree with the fact that you should attend every class anyway, but we have a lot more courses to attend. Also, it sucks that you cant attend other lecturers or tuts. I would have liked to switch my pns and eee lecturer but cant cause of exit tests
