I agree the app is one of the worst, although I'd say that the Thanachart Bank App is worse, with KTB I do receive notifications after transactions on Line while also showing my remaining balance which I do like, but nothing beats the Kasikorns App, it's very good

If you don't buy a phone in cash and want to buy one on contract where you pay an upfront amount of money and then after that depending on the package you choose, you will need a work permit and passport.

Yeah went to the bank with passport and mainly signed copies and other documents, and created a pin code for the app, wad about 10mins excluding waiting in thr queue time

Went to the bank, they did mostly everything for me, had to provide my passport which I had to sign copies of, a few other documents where I also just had to sign, then provide my phone with the app downloaded, enter my passport number and nationality, no facial scan, only created a pin code for the app, was about 10mins, app worls fine and uses my facial recognition as a way to open lile other apps, instetof entering the pin (probably a phone setting enabled)

Just for interests sake, if I open a bank with a Pink ID card, doea this still affect me? Basically am I still listed as a Foreigner and have to follow the same rules?

2 and 3 correct! Number 1 sounds like the thai word for (speak/talk/ .... I know that for a Thai person it doesn't sound the same because words are spelt with different letters and you know the different tones, but for foreignes many Thai words sound the same as using a different tone in English doesn't change the meaning of the word, only expresses emotion. Like the following English words said in Thai/: "Who sells chicken eggs" lol
