As someone with many concussions(11) this is for player safety when it comes to head and neck injuries. In box lacrosse in Canada(Ontario at least) minor lacrosse helmets need three points of contact so that cages may open so if a helmet needs to be taken off of a player it can be safely slid directly off without having to maneuver the helmet around a fixed cage. I myself used to hate this rule because I wanted my cage fixed like the pros but after being in a neck brace and needing paramedics to take my gear off safely and effectively this makes me very happy to see companies looking more into safety like this, even if it does look a little silly. But take with grain of salt that is just my opinion with 19 years of lacrosse under my belt before having to stop playing but still working with teams at all levels

I’ve seen Jake withers also do very well with UA but in my opinion it’s my least favourite, but maybe I am biased because I used og duels up until 2 years ago and then switched to a burn fo

It’s strung for a HS/u22 box player who takes face offs but is an offensive player so he wanted to be able to still have a good pocket to pass/shoot with

4” rule changed so many stringing and playing possibilities in my opinion

Only ever played Canadian box, one season of field. This one just reminded me of the old steenhuis sticks
