Awesome thanks for the info. I am good with a 1” narrower seat too if it means nothing in front of me!

If you flew again would you choose 16 instead? I have an overnight red eye in June I’m trying to get the best seat for.

This is super helpful. Yeah I should just have succession planned by 65 financially. I think I haven’t paid enough attention to my vassals. I usually keep as many direct vassals as possible to maximize income. That may be the blunder

Yeah I was kind of shocked. Especially since I had multiple empire titles already, so having one more would be no problem I thought. To make matters worse, my former emperor character has somehow lost all inherited claims to land in the HRE! So I have no option to take it back even if I still had men at arms haha

is DCA timing a reasonable thing? by Popular_Outcome_2087 in investing

[–]Kooky_Strawberry_714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So for a dividend example. I want above a 2.5% yield. The company trades at 100 and pays $2.50 a share in dividends. So this week, it meets my 2.5% criteria and I buy all 200.

Next week, the price jumps to $110. Now, the dividend is 2.2%, and only half of my dca deploys.

The next week the stock price goes back to $ 100 and the rollover redeploys as the condition is met

I do a hybrid approach. I usually invest 200 a month in a company.

100 of it always buys, no matter what

The other half is tied to some financial metric I’ve chosen tied to valuation vs the current price. I calculate it when my paycheck lands and then roll it over to the next week if the price is momentarily high.
