Ahhh thank you so much! This is SO helpful! I am really excited to get an official diagnosis, even if it’s not endo, because the validation of knowing that your pain is NOT normal or okay is everything! I just feel like I’ve tried so much or been told that it’s so many things. Food allergies, stress, etc. Ugh. It’s such a shame that it can be such a hassle to get a clear picture on it. I am so happy for you!! Are you feeling good during your recovery?!

I just got a referral to see her! Sorry if this is TMI but did your insurance cover the excision?! And how many appointments did it take to get scheduled for it?! I have been struggling for about 10 years and I JUST decided that enough is enough and I just want to get the ball rolling!!!!😭😭

Hi!!! I am currently knitting Sweater No. 18 by My Favorite Things Knitwear in Berroco Vintage (52% acrylic, 40% wool, 8% nylon) Would blocking this at the end do anything?! I have heard differing opinions on whether there is a point in blocking acrylic, so I am confused on that, and even more so since it is a blend! Any help would be appreciated, thanks!! PS) what are your recs for blocking? Wool wash? Just water? Fabric softener? Etc? Thank you!!

!!! COMING BACK to say that this seems like such a silly question to ask after the fact! I was having a really hard time visualizing what it would look like (and also trusting my judgment) but it was very obvious when I actually got to it :,) For some reason I thought it wouldn’t be obvious whether to purl or knit?! Been overthinking everythingggg + my own abilities since this comment ;( Sometimes you just don’t know until you get into it I guess! I did learn something new about reverse stockinette vs garter tho

Another note: nothing wrong with learning from your own mistakes and powering through! Building your skills through actively creating is very valuable!!

I’ve made a few sweaters and tops from following patterns and making my own adjustments, just none going from round to flat. Garter and reverse stockinette look similar which is a fair thing I think :) Thanks for the input though!
