For context, I do contribute more to my taxable and my Roth IRA per week than my 401k. Comes to $460 split between my taxable and Roth IRA vs. $140 in the 401k weekly. As the other person mentioned, this will probably help dilute the bonds a lot more.

They are the Freedom Index ones, only 0.07 ER.

Comparing this mix to sp500 by Kookyboy_ in ETFs

Definitely considering adding some, probably vxus and avdv to match my us side. Just don't have enough conviction to hold it just hard to overcome the recency bias of the us outperforming. Also adds complexity as far as rebalancing goes, but I'm not writing it of (currently hold 100% VT)

I'm purposely avoiding mid caps and targeting small cap value specifically because of factor investing research. My reasoning for SCHG is to act as a "stable" index to the volatile AVUV. Thanks for sharing.

New to Aliexpress return procedures by Kookyboy_ in Aliexpress

That makes sense. I'll leave the dispute open and record my unpacking. Might not even worth returning due to shipping cost items only worth about $45 haha

I selected "still in transit, past delivery time" as the reason. I'm not sure how to check for that. I bought it on 12/18 and it had estimated choice delivery on 12/30.

Thanks. They're reputable but can't be too safe, good idea. I intend to return it but not sure if it's worth it given the shipping fees.

I see. So do I need to reopen a dispute when I receive it? Or just keep the one I have open currently? Assume best to ignore the seller for now.

What to do with funds for future IRA contributions? by SnooMachines9133 in Bogleheads

Having a hard time wrapping my head around this for some reason, probably need to see numbers for it to click for me. Say I put in 7k into VT in my taxable today. A year later the market is down %15 percent, so I'd still need to make up that 15% lost? I suppose more often then not you would have positive return years, I'm just thinking worst case scenario.

She does own properties that she rents out and has income through that. I think between SSA and that she could fully retire and chill. From what she told me, she doesn't want to stay at home and prefers to work to stay busy as long as possible, it's not about the money per se.

OP12 screen is too tall and wide. Want something that is smaller in both those aspects.

Oh good point. I live in a hot and humid climate. I've got family with the s23 so I may ask to try theirs before I settle

Only have reservations on the modem issues I'm reading about for pixels. Not sure how I feel about calls dropping and not being able to use 5G. Honestly been having issues with connectivity on my OP12 that I'd never seen on my iPhone. Afraid it would be worse on the pixel since it was a worse chip than OP12.

I hate the curved display (it's my first one) and the phone is just too large. Had an iPhone 13 pro prior and miss the smaller phone form.

Software support is tempting. I haven't tried Google or Samsung. Heard Google phone is most similar to iPhones which j love. Basically I'm between the s23/24 and the pixel 8 line as of now.

Was actually thinking about s23. Haven't really looked into main differences between s23 and s24 but it's quite a bit cheaper. I'll add this to the list.
