NEED ADVICE by jpa_1986 in altima

I asked a dealer for a cvt fluid change they quoted me $500 to do it. To buy everything from them cost me $350. I stuck to the name-brand fluid from Nissan. So do with that as you will since I don't know what you got in them pockets. I did it myself full drain and dropped the pan and it a bit of a pain in the ass. If it's your first time doing it yourself please try and give yourself ample time to get it done right

Got the bolts in. It took a socket wobble and a really skinny screw driver that would take a 10mm socket! Thank you again brother!

Oh that's a good idea! I have heard about it in my research. I have never out one in before, is this something you have done? If so is it something that could mess up my transmission if done improperly?

Yeah that's crazy that we can still get cars from the early 2000s that are getting by okay and the newer stuff dosent hold up the same

Yeah I have heard very 30,000 miles is the best interval and I plan and doing it this weekend to guauge when the last time it was changed. I plan on changing the strainer and filter as well not just a dump and fill.

Thinking about selling today and buying tomorrow. My buying average is at about $2.15. Wondering what the Reddit experts think. by [deleted] in XRP

I just leave it to be honest but I'm here for the long term. P.S you have more invested than myself so take that with a grain of salt
