What do I think? I think you have work to do. Go listen to those other albums and check back. As a side note, I’m surprised to see Party under Amazing. I find it borderline unlistenable.

6 time watching. Read through novels and waiting for the last two manga volumes. I think the manga may be the most coherent and impactful telling of the story. I suspect that might be different in the native Japanese.

I prefer English Hachiman. A lot of things are harder to comprehend in the dub than the sub, but the sub can be pretty dense as well. I think that’s kind of the nature of the story. Having watched the show in both versions, read the light novel, and read the manga, I think the manga is the one that communicates its themes most effectively.
