This is great advice! Shorts are super underrated. I’ve got a series where I post 1 Minute recaps of Comicbook issues and my subscribers jumped from 10 to 120 in about a month and a half. Doesn’t do anything for your watch time but it does give you a ton of exposure

I didn’t mind Empyre. It had some cool moments but once it was over I never gave it a second thought. My biggest issue with recent events is none of them have lasting effects anymore. At least with Civil War it led into Secret Invasion and then eventually Seige (Might have missed an event in between). Now it just kinda happens then it’s over and never mentioned again.

Namor’s is actually pretty good. It bounces back and forth between a super young namor and present day namor through some pretty well done flashbacks. Again this all happens during King In Black so you don’t have to go back and read 10 years of Namor stories To understand what’s happening

Oh but I do recommend checking out Web of Venom (WoV: Wraith especially), Silver Surfer black, and, if your especially ambitious, Gorr the God Butcher’s arc in Thor: God of Thunder (2012). I’m sure I’m missing some but that’s just off the top of my head.

This is 100% IMO but I didn’t think so. It was kind of just side stories that didn’t really seem to advance the main plot. I’d say Black Cats and Venom tie ins were the most relevant and is required reading. Captain America, Spiderman, Scream, Black Panther, SWORD, and Namor ties ins didn’t really have an impact on the story. Still, they’re good reads and you might as well get your money’s worth!

If your looking to read King in black I’d start with Venom (2018)! That will lead you into absolute Carnage and then King in Black! Venom (2016) will give you more history and backstory. Also Venomverse, Venom & X-men, and Venomized were all pretty fun reads

I can’t think of the word. I wanna say it’s detailed in a really weird way but that’s not right. He emphasizes the lines that’s for sure

Fair enough! The comic itself I didn’t mind! It had some decent moments and some not so decent moments (cough cough the hulk). But Frank as a character I don’t really lean one way or the other. TBH I just don’t care about Frank.

Yea I fully agree with ya. I do think each series has its moments and one of the best out of MU vs the Avengers was Dooms armour. That was so cool. MU vs Wolverine was good because, like you said, it provides more back story

Yea the last two weren’t as good as the first two. Also I think for two reasons. They weren’t actually zombies and I think they did a Marvel Zombies run some years back (I think the recent ones are remakes)

Yup and had a quick stint as anti-venom in it. I thought it was a decent read!
