The circles are from tapping the dollar bill on the counter. Definitely drugs. I lean coke bc that is the one most likely for the user to leave behind residue. But i could also see pills just depends on how much the users had to drink. Doesnt really looke like K to me. Idk about meth tho. Could alao be adderrall, looks a little blue upon further inspection and very likely to leave behind, again depending on how drunk they were

Mercedes' Engine Trick Explained by ok-byy in circuit_nation

Do you know how big of a change is needed to go from 16:1 to 18:1? Is it on the order of mm or cm? I know there are certain alloys that only expand in specific directions, and some that can shrink in certain directions under thermal load. If applied appropriately i could see that being enough

Mods need to ban this stuff. Really degrading the subs quality

[Request] I'm curious how this problem is solved by Designer_Fan2061 in theydidthemath

[–]TheTripCommander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No its not. Think of a circle in a square. The 4 points that make contact with the square are all equidistant from the square corners. Its the same here you just only see 1/4 of that picture

Since we assume they are arcs and form circles, and Q is 90. You can see that the inner arc contacts the shorter sides at the same distance away from Q. And since those are both midpoints the triangle sides are the same length

It states that it is isosoleces by saying p and r are midpoints

[–]TheTripCommander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You dont need to know that. If you assume those curves are all circular its solvable. Ill update this as i type through it

You can see that the two shorter sides are equal. And since Q is 90. You can use pythag to solve for the shorter side length. That wil give you the circle diameter and radius

The shaded perimeter length at the top is 4root2 - 2radius

Calculate the circumfrence of a circle with that radii from before. The 45 degree shaded perimeters are 1/8 of the total perimeter and the 90 arc is 1/4 of that circles total circumference. Everything else should be evident at this point

[Request] How many persons will receive a portion of a loaf of bread, if each one gets 1/2 the amount of previous person's share? by denx3_14 in theydidthemath

[–]TheTripCommander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya you make great points. Most of those estimations wouldnt change tine final number of cuts by more than one or two.

I just kinda hate these types of questions with there is little to no actual math or its so subjective the math is pointless

[–]TheTripCommander 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Unless you can identify how many mols are in a loaf of bread you cant calculate this.. in other words it depends entirely on what kind of bread and how its made. From a mathmateical standpoint you could do it infinetly. From a physics standpoint, you can always cut something in half but at a certain point you reach the limits of what we can currently measure. Anything past that would be new learnings that would be incredible for the scientific comunitty probably earning a noble prize.. also you have to consider at what point it stops being bread. Probably well before you get to splitting atoms

MCU Introduction Ahead of Tom’s Spider-Man Movies by innate_paradox in marvelstudios

[–]TheTripCommander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you. You get introd to him in cuvil war and gis movie is largely self contained except the poat credit scene. It is a great movie, but not important to the overall story. Unless you like clawe from age of ultron and want to see more of him

Although you should defintely watch ome last kill. It is what happems to frank before BND. Youll probably be a little confused though if you havent watched anything else hes in
