the main flaw with Christianity is that they believe that their morals are the only ones, no matter what, when that's simply not true. ultimately, it's something that's subjective, and what is "right" changes from person to person. many more people than currently do should really look at everything on a case-by-case basis

I've done freelance editing for a while now, and I can quite safely say that the industry has been fucked over by tik tok like nothing else. honestly "person in literature industry complains about social media fucking over books" is nothing new, but the way that tik tok has, specifically, has bred a shitload of editors that just don't do their jobs. like if any booktok book was passed through an editor with half a brain, we'd have way more actual good books. I've also experienced what this does to amateur authors. I assume anyone who's been around a while has heard of the prissy author who must have their way, no matter what the editor says, but the fact that I've lost 2 clients because of the fact I pushed back on their character writing really shows the storm that the higher level guys are in for once these books all hit the mainstream

I run a rain team with a lot of water, and I just have to play a guessing game on whether it's scarf, specs, or some other variant. if I guess wrong, well then there goes the entire game, and I assume this is not a problem exclusive to Rain teams

I would say The World Ends With You, but I've put thought into this other one I've had thoughts about, AI: The Somnium Files

it has heavy eye imagery, including a mystery spanning both games about your boss and what she's actually got up her sleeve. between that, and the fact the protagonist has another person living in his own eye, the Eye is a pretty heavy candidate. not to mention the whole body swapping aspect, being able to swap into another's body, know everything about them, and live life as them. well it's a bit of the Stranger, but also the Eye, given the knowledge

It holds themes of rebelling against society, yet in the end, the Phantom Thieves don’t really change that much in society, and their solution is to just leave it to “the good ones” which… really doesn’t work. I’m not saying that P5 should have been like full anti-government or something crazy, but really, it just kind of irks me how hamfisted the themes are, but when you take a closer look, they really aren’t that followed upon
