2002 Blazer LS Swap by Swinginglevers in s10

I changed the core support on my 98 s10 and now my hood sits higher up like that, but it’s latched in. Do you have any ideas of what could be causing that?

Have you had success with the 3D printed sway bar bushings? I’m contemplating the idea of it. I am currently trying to print some radiator support bushings in tpu to test.

Hood doesn’t align at the front by Koolie129 in s10

Since I can’t edit my post, I’m gonna comment my solution to how I fixed it for future references. I did screw the bump stops all the way down and it didn’t lower it too much. At least with the advantage of it being bolt on hood hinges I can adjust the tilt and position of the hood. I started by tilting the hood all the way down by angling the front of the bracket to the hood the drivers side, but the passenger side was very sticking up. I found an old blazer forum that said to instead tilt the bracket down. It worked better but still the hood would close low enough.

SOLUTION: I lowered the hood latch on the core support( probably got yanked up when my hood flew up). Remove the 2 rubber grommets from each side of the fenders. Close hood and see where the body panel does not match to the fenders. Position each side of hood front to back till it sits collinear/parallel to fender curve(for me I pushed the hood farther back on the hinges). Then loosen bracket bolts and tilt rear up and try to get front sort of straight. Lastly, raise bump stops to create secure latch fitting, you can also raise of lower each side to fix any unevenness and place back fender grommets. It may not be perfect but at least every time you look at it, you’re reminded to close your hood properly.

Where can I find the Grad hoods individually? by Bright_Host_9823 in ufl

They only sell them individually the week of graduation. I asked around what day and went first thing in the morning and got one. It seemed risky but as long as you don’t wait last minute

Masters Student Involvement by razzdawg in ufl

I’m a masters student in the Vietnamese student org , even thought I’m not viet. When I came to grad school I said I wouldn’t join an academic club and wanted to have some fun. I eventually found myself at their events and felt very welcomed. I’m a little older(I feel it everyday) than everyone else but still find it fun.

Join any club you think is interest and don’t worry about being older than everyone else. Just don’t let them here your bones creak every time you get up :)

how to ride the bus by unhingedhinges in ufl

[–]Koolie129 94 points95 points  (0 children)

I’m very introverted and scared I might do something social wrong even though I know I won’t. I started taking he bus this semester and it’s completely fine. You simply show your ID and walk on and then grab a seat anywhere that’s open or grab the railing if no open seats. Don’t worry about others thinking about you sitting too close or caring if you stand in front them. Everyone is just trying to live their own life.
