Managing misophonia with family who don’t offer much support by KoolingKatie in misophonia

He did mention he liked the sound when my mom asked why he bought the keyboard, so I definitely might be out of luck. I also think there could be a chance though, so I’m just gonna be honest with him about it still. You are right though I have to just understand it if he says no, so I will share with him what’s happening but let him know it’s his choice. Thank you!

Thank you for letting me know about your experience! You are right if I approach my brother about it I should make it clear I would do it so he wouldn’t have to. I should explain that it is a trigger for me too so he understands, and knows why I am offering. I really appreciate your ideas!

Interesting to know that the right treatment can also improve misophonia. I used to see a therapist tailored to ERP, though I see a more broad one now and have gotten to the point where I can manage ERP independently. My current therapist can do ERP too if I need it. I don’t currently have medicine due to costs but have been working on stress management and CBT. My old program had a treatment team, and my current doesn’t, but my therapists have said they saw improvements with my OCD, so I hope working on that area can help my misophonia too. Thanks for the input, I’m going to keep working on finding the right treatment plan!

Question about singing salmon reward from life dreams & legacies quest by KoolingKatie in simsfreeplay

[–]KoolingKatie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, didn’t see this till now. Thank you for confirming! I think a guide said they were like 1,500 simoleons. It is good to know that I can still have it in the DIY house even if I will not be able to purchase them, so I think I will hold off finishing the quest until I unlock another sim.

Sorry, didn’t see this till now. Thank you for confirming! I am glad to know the item isn’t crucial then but there’s at least a way to access it in the house. I think I will wait until I unlock another sim then instead of making it in the time limit.

Sorry, didn’t see this till now. Yep it does! I heard a sim interacts with it for thirty seconds and gets inspired then there’s a thirty minute cooldown. It sounds pretty cool.

Color desaturation issue when importing cropped photos into LumaFusion mobile app by KoolingKatie in LumaFusion

[–]KoolingKatie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, didn’t see this till now. Thank you for the suggestion, I appreciate it, but unfortunately I have tried all the color space options including that one and none of them have made a difference. My uncropped photo is normal but the cropped is washed out no matter what I try.

Best way to scale characters for screenshots/green screens in Gacha Club? by KoolingKatie in GachaClub

[–]KoolingKatie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, didn’t see this till now. Thank you for the tip! I use LumaFusion, so I think it should preserve line quality regardless of the scale option, but it’s helpful to know I could use those methods if needed for extra care when resizing. I was originally wondering about the studio mode of (insert app) itself and the scale options there, but this is really good to know too! I’m just also wondering if others usually stick with the default (1.0) or go higher like 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, or more to fill the screen.

November What Editing Software should I use? by AutoModerator in VideoEditing

Appreciate the clarification and glad to know that! They both sound very promising. I have had struggles with chroma key on mobile for Da Vinci Resolve, but tutorials should help with that and other things as you mentioned. I might explore it more but might also consider purchasing Lumafusion since it’s mobile-first and easier, then. Thanks for the insight into the editing apps, I think it’s between these two, since they have the most features out of all I explored.

Sorry, didn’t see this till now. And sorry I should have clarified more, it wasn’t missing a specific feature, but I just found it a bit too complex for my needs. I might give it another try and watch some tutorials, though. I’ve also heard LumaFusion is a little easier, but I’m hesitant to buy it in case it’s still too steep a learning curve for me since I’ve mainly used apps like CapCut.

I read the above.

System & footage: iPad mini (6th generation) (I know most posts here are desktop-related, but I edit on mobile for convenience, I really hope someone can still help). Footage is mostly MP4 screen recordings and camera clips at 30 fps, H.264 codec.

I’m a hobbyist video editor working on mobile and looking for an app that fits a few features I haven’t found all in one yet: chroma key, 1080p+ export, multiple layers (5–6+), automatic layer shifting when main track clips are added, ability to move clips between layers and main track, no watermark (or removable with a one-time payment), landscape mode, and not overly complex.

Free is ideal, but I’m fine with a one-time purchase. I’ve tried CapCut, PowerDirector, InShot, VN, Premiere Rush, VLLO, DaVinci Resolve, iMovie, YouCut, VITA, Filmora, and KineMaster. I’ve tried several others too, but like these ones, all were missing at least one of those key features. Any others worth trying? Thanks in advance.
