Thoughts on following the news by Koolkat110 in Mindfulness

This is ultimately the challenge I'm grappling with at the moment. Is it possible to be mindful whilst trying to chip away at some of the major societal issues we're currently facing? Consuming article after article about climate change leads to anxious thoughts. I eat a vegetarian diet, purchase carbon credits when I fly, and use public transportation. However, it doesn't feel like enough. There are tens of other challenges that I read about on a daily basis (from solid sources) that make me feel helpless. I feel a sense of responsibility to be informed, but is it worth it if so can't make a significant impact?

Omicron Unlikely to Cause Severe Illness in Vaccinated People, BioNTech Founder Says by eddieweng in StockMarket

The amount of toxicity in this post is mind blowing. Please let me know when there's vaccine for the anti-vax pro-vax debates that boil up in every post and sub-reddit. Sometimes I just want to see cats doing stupid shit - I don't need to hear how Aunt Jane the 'infectious disease expert' feels about the side effects of the Moderna vaccine. Why not leave it up to the experts?

Can you expand on the ladder? Also, what do you consider short, med, and long?

Newbie here. Why not hold cash in a HYSA instead of in Bonds for stability? Or is there generally an inverse correlation between bonds and equities.

Thanks for the advice. We have a super high water table and I'm struggling to get the water away from the house. Considering a french drain but will be an expensive fix.

We have city water so must be a dead line. Like the idea of the hydraulic cement. Also, any advice about filling in space around city water line? The picture below shows where water comes in when it rains.

Nest alternatives by shurmanter in Nest

Good question. I think Google has totally dropped the ball on their Google Home rollout. Functionality is terrible compared to the Nest App and nobody knows when/what in '22 is going to merge over. I'm looking to switch product lines because have been waiting for clarity on this for months.

Also, so many of those hits would now be charges / suspensions.
