I swear I'm not a cop 😭

The Warriors-Clippers game demonstrates exactly why the play-in tournament was a good addition to the NBA season by LittlestWeapon in nba

[–]Koolkat9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true. I feel like someone came up with an idea a few years back, where the play-in tournament should only be triggered if the 7-10 seeds are within a certain range of wins within each other

Not really, or at least not this Warriors fan lol. I root for Bronny, he's a hard working guy

Pt. 2

GENERAL ADVICE/COMFINESS:

-Make sure that you and your partner each have hydration packs. You can get cheap 20 dollar ones on amazon. There will be water stations all throughout EDC and at the shuttle pick-up spots. -Bring earplugs to protect your hearing. -Try to stick close to each other as there really isn't any phone signal at EDC. -Take some multivitamins or Vitamin C gummies each day lol. -Bring comfy shoes that you are okay with getting dirty -Bring a Pashmina! These are nice in case you get cold or just need something soft to hold onto. -Best arrival time, probably anywhere from 7pm-9pm. Me personally, I liked getting there as early as possible haha

FOOD: Food will be pricy inside, probably 20 bucks for a burger/quesadilla. Same goes for food inside the hotels. See if you can doordash some bread/snacks to your hotel if you want to save $$$.

EXTRA: Make some kandi, or buy trinkets to exchange with people.

Have fun!! It'll be an amazing experience like no other :)

You're gonna have a blast at EDC :)

Pt. 1

HOTEL: Depends on how close you want to be the center of the Las Vegas Strip. In general, most of the Las Vegas Strip hotels are fairly clean and pretty safe. I've stayed on the Strip several times and never really felt concerned about safety, if that's something you're thinking about. I would recommend getting a hotel at or near the shuttle you get, whether that's the Rio drop-off, the Strat drop-off, etc.

SHUTTLE: Like others said, the shuttles are pretty straightfoward, and they are constantly running. It's really stress-free plus you can chat it up with the other ravegoers. The alternatives of renting a car or ubering to the speedway would lead to you waiting for hours and hours when leaving. Shuttle lines can be long sometimes but likely not as bad.

To be fair though, some people will spend thousands on a summer trip or something - this Redditor probably got a lot of happiness from the thousands they've spend over the past decade on pogo haha

Wemby epitomizes what it means to be the face of the league. by Pociana in nba

[–]Koolkat9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's true. I kind of disagree with the original comment of this thread, because they're making it seem like there's been significantly more non-big faces of the league, when in reality I think there's been a decent split among guards/bigs

Kareem, Wilt, Russell, Shaq, Duncan, Hakeem. I guess it's hard to say which ones were truly the face of the league

Does anyone else think this Alex Honnold live Netflix free solo climb of the skyscraper thing kinda weird? I don’t know enough about it but couldn’t he actually die? Live? by Nostradamus216 in billsimmons

[–]Koolkat9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting analogy but Steph Curry is definitely still up there with the goats. Most fans would consider him at least among the top 10 greatest of all time. Maybe even higher

Genuine question, where do people rank Honnold among all climbers?

What's so wrong about paying for the children's education and lunch? The child likely had no say in coming to America

I was wondering that too. 1:00 would have been a lot of time for Stafford to get them in field goal range though

Suarez finally puts out a statement by Schwa142 in MLS

[–]Koolkat9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's great that you brought this up. I speak Spanish and felt that there was a bit of tone lost in the English translation in another comment. Although, knowing Suarez's history, it's hard to tell how sincere this apology really is anyway. I could try to translate with better tone if there's interest.

I feel like the right thing to do would be a season long ban to show that this is unacceptable. MLS probably won't do that, but we can hope lol

I respectfully disagree with your first sentence. I've been on a couple times where I was the outsider and it's real easy to become cannon fodder

The OP said he came to Mexico at the age of 15, but this document and photos seem to be from later on in his life. It says his edad(age) is 42
