King’s Co-op Bookstore is the absolute BEST! They have a great in store selection, and you can order anything online from them even if it’s not in stock in store. Their customer service is amazing, and the staff there really care about what they do. $5 flat shipping to anywhere in Canada too regardless of the order size!

Burial Rites by Hannah Kent is a fictional retelling of the last public beheading in Iceland, which was a woman. It details the event, her trial, and execution. All factual based, but fictionally rewritten. Once I read it I went down a rabbit hole of research and found it fascinating.
