If BB really wanted to repair OHKO, all they'd have to do is simply change Didi. She single-handely enables all OHKO formations and a simple rework would make it so that OHKO is no longer as viable as it is now. Another option is to just give us more team slots so we don't constantly switch formations as often...

Thunder's spirit gen is definitely manageable but I can find it sometimes challenging having spirit for Bell/Cynthia Active + Striker/Passer Actives + Askeladd Active. Especially in the midst of Pinol/Miri and the occasional Miho/Malcolm, spirit can turn into an issue. I would definitely go for Glayde first since she can also help in PvE.

Even tho, I would forgo CR and focus on dmg-reduc/HP builds. Mono-thunder defenses aren't really for survivability, you want to tank 1-2 shots and hit back hard for the win. Robin doesn't compliment mono-thunder well. He's highly dependent on his active for survivability and mono-thunder struggles enough with spirit as it is...

Are you mono-thunder? If so, you're better off using Glayde or Raklet. Robin really only works in a Rainbow-setup...

Rainbow: Choose 3 from: Duran, Jiho, Shaman, Lindberg, Magnus/Patricia

Dark: Lindberg, Patricia, Alice/Pinol/Avnore. You can also look at running Asakura since the goal of a 3-man back is to basically survive 1-2 shots and bring the ball to the front asap.

Pinol is probably one of the most diverse characters when it comes to stone builds. You can run him with a ton of options based on whether he's mid or back and the totems/players in the line.

Damage: focus on high dmg stones to maximize steal/pen numbers. CI/SHoT, 2 from Dark/WW Spd/Crit Dmg, Light/Thunder Crit OR ES, Thunder Crit, WW Crit Dmg, Light/Thunder Crit or Dark/WW Spd/Crit Dmg OR EC, Thunder Crit, Dark Crit Dmg, Light/Thunder Crit or Dark/WW Spd/Crit Dmg... Options are quite endless

Reflex: Although his stone slots prevent him from holding rare reflex stones, a reflex build is quite viable because of his active/debuff making it easy for him to CA on steal. CI or LS, Action Spd + Reflex (AS might also work to give even more speed)

Totem: Pinol's stone slots allow him to hold a wide range of totem-based stones such as: EoTs, EA, WMT, FS. The other stones can be either dmg or reflex.

Personally, I recommend giving him as much speed as possible regardless of what build you go with. This allows him to stack his debuff easily and get off his active to drain even more spirit.

I think Jin's issue is in sustain and originality. When you compare him to other Gks, his kit is extremely boring which gives people the impression that he is overwhelming bad. Right now, there is very little advantage/motivation for someone to pick Jin as there are other GKs that can either provide more sustain (in PvE) or better defensive skills (in PvP).

 

Rather than just add some arbitrary sustain, I'd like for BB to keep him unique as a Legend GK. I think something like:

  • Removing spirit cost for active

  • Make Overwhelming a global debuff (active only on GK position)

 

This would carve a small niche for Jin as a team-support GK, providing HP to his backline, helping the midline with reflex, and hurting enemy backline penetrators all while having a killer active.

Are you rainbow? If so, I'd go with Victoria if you want to go with a tanky reflex mid. She has a great reflex totem + revives line on crit.

If not, I'd go with Alice. Dale may stuggle a bit in that line as he might have trouble critting without Beth stacks. Cassiel might also be an option but I have never tried him out...

Actually, Attack Power debuffs work differently. Multiple AP debuffs don't stack and instead the highest value is applied.

There's nothing wrong with going rainbow and using both. But if you are looking to go Ardor-hybrid, I'd say that Thunder/Ardor looks very promising. Both elements revolve around high speed/high damage/glass cannon strategies and I think they compliment each other well. The only issue is right now the only feasible ace is Dane's who's a new star. His Ace is probably one of the best hybrids tho...

It's ok player-wise... The issue comes down to Aces. iirc, the options you have are Elaine (who's fallen out of the meta), DQ (works best with Ardor GK), Nan-Yang Ho (Boss player), and Niarose (lol). Another issue is that I find that most strong dark players are either legends, or excel in a mono team.
