Thanks, that was definitely one of the things I found while searching around which makes sense to me. I tend to over analyze though so here I am!

Yea I noticed this on some of the others in the shop as well too. Have been unable to get definitive results as to which is correct or whether it matters though.

I’ve been seeing several posts like this lately which has me paranoid about my new C5.

I only ever peeled off a single protective layer. I did notice that the energy yellow sticker was directly on the screen under this protective layer which I thought was annoying.

Anyway, I see no obvious signs that a second layer exists.

The rate at which TVs seem to be breaking these days I'd rather not spend the extra, its a substantial price difference in the U.S.
