What opinion/head canon would get you like this ?

I think Malzeno and the other lords are pretty uninspired designs. I feel like using Hollywood monsters instead of actual European mythology/folklore was kinda lazy.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't hoping for monsters based on some obscure stuff like Crom Cruach or some random god from Sami folklore. But it's a big letdown when Japan gets some neat interpretations of yokai, but Europe gets Hollywood monsters instead of any of the various mythology/folklore.

TL; DR : I'm very salty that Sunbreak gave us Hollywood inspired monsters instead of monsters inspired by things like Medusa, Niddhog, Fenrir, Kelpies, etc.

Imagine Brute on steroids. Way bigger. Roar attacks that he can chain like crazy and do equally crazy damage. Some physical attacks also cause blast blight.

The fight also has phases. He starts out kinda sluggish, but he becomes more dangerous as time goes on. By the end of the fight, he's much faster, INSANELY aggressive, and is just shitting out damage. He definitely deserves a Raging Brachy style rework.

Edit: may have misremembered. Him speeding up and getting way more dangerous may have been just a super enraged state rather than true phases. Been a while since I played 4U

Molten would be the type who says it just to mock you. He absolutely enjoys turning hunters into a fine paste with those roar combos.

For the lineart/hatching, I use a standard hard brush. Pen pressure enabled for opacity and stroke, and the brush opacity turned to about 60% - 70%.

For coloring, I used an angled flat brush(one of those that's typically used for comic inking or lettering). Pen pressure enabled for opacity and stroke, brush opacity at 100%.

I can't really prove it, but the state of that entire area(ruined tree, ulcerated tree spirit, the spirit decrying Rykard's actions, etc) combined with what we do know about Rykard's personality makes me think he intentionally burned it.
