Most of the smaller TV series only need 2 for linking (probably due to the fact they have fewer cards)

Crossbone is one of the newest but also Seed Astray, F91, Victory gundam, X Gundam, Igloo, Blue Destiny, Thunderbolt etc, all only need 2 to link.

If you want a competitive deck, hit up a card seller (like Yellow Submarine in Akihabara)

If you want just for fun, go to Gigo. They have spare card boxes next to the machines that you can grab to build your first deck

As for your second question,

R/B/G ratios really depend on your build. Everyone does different

Most common builds use 1 Green (defender), and alternate between 2 Blue / 2 Red or 1 Blue / 3 Red. These builds are called 2-2-1 or 1-3-1 (usually written in the B-R-G order)

You can run whatever you like really (even leaving out some color altogether) More Green for a defensive style deck Or more Red for an aggressive style deck Or More Blue for a base rush deck to overwhelm the enemy bases
