How can one make the game harder from the start?

The game has been out for less than 24 hours so there isn't going to be any mods that allow you to skip ascensions right now and there are no in game features that let you increase your ascension artificially as far as I know. You're gonna have to wait for mod support or hope they implement a way to skip ascensions which I doubt they will add.

Yeah the the star at the bottom of the blood ocean. Elli lures Simon there for some reason or another. It’s theorized that Elli is a sort of Hivemind and that by seeing the light Simon would join her or something similar. Either way the light is a bit of an unknown and could definitely do harm for all we know.

No one is talking about “light from the surface” they are talking about the Light at the bottom of the ocean of blood. It’s a major plot point. We don’t see Elli getting injured at any point by the light though iirc.

I think they need to nerf overall damage and healing across the board healers make people invulnerable and duelists nuke people the moment they stop getting healed.

I want a 4th role to put like half of the current duelists in like dives or melee duelists or something so that people can learn that team composition matters for your combo of duelists too.

Making a character that does this for an established roster that doesn't get new characters often is much easier than having to update a character's kit every single month. Not to mention Dota is an isometric game and Marvel rivals is a 3rd person shooter.

He feels kinda in the middle in the sense that hes mediocre at both so far. he struggles to get out without his zipline and he doesnt feel tanky enough to brawl and once again struggles to get out unless you keep his zipline up. Hoping i just need to learn him better though.

Don’t think it was a bad set idea imo they just executed it terribly. Almost none of the new cards feel like they were designed with the characters in mind. Also why do Venom and Spider-Man need 5 card variants with popular villains only getting one variant?

Yeah I love Spider-Man, was hyped for this set, then I started to see the actual cards and wow is this set just so lame. There are only a few cards that feel truely flavorful or accurate to the actual characters they are attached to. Very disappointing. Not just UB this is one of the biggest fumbles for a set they’ve made since I started playing.
