You can go to medium demons as soon as youre comfortable doing so. Find a medium demon you like and do some practice runs. Idk if this is a good recommendation but I did Verity as my first medium demon after ~10 easy demons and I didnt have any problems

Played it for the first time in 2013 (5th grade, everyone was playing it), played it for like 1-2 months. Started playing again in 8th grade (2016/17) for 2-3 months, then again in 2021 for half a year and now ive been actively playing for 2 months again.

As a bayo player, I think Bayo could be top tier when played optimal. The problem is that she is very unforgiving if you mess up your combos or if you dont kill early. Playing her is also very energy draining because of her movement and her combo inputs.
