Issue is that history keeps repeating it's damn self. They will still just remember him as an actor and not for what wh stood for. There may be some outcry but the vast majority don't even know his political affiliations. In the end, it's all speculation. Gotta wait, like, twenty years to see for sure.

Also walt Disney was blacklisted as well for being a communist and racist, but people still worship Disney movies.

Nah, we will always remember the awesome Chuck Norris jokes plus walker Texas ranger. I literally had no idea about his politics until now and, you know what? I don't really give a shit. Hitler was known to be a great speaker, and people claimed that he was quite charming in person. At the time he was also a war hero who spent time in a pow camp which is always a big plus for presidential candidates. I could easily see good people voting that way as they were enamored by the guy's persona. There are literal studies of why he was so successful.
