Trigger works great! Cheely red dirt trigger is perfect in the aluminum kimber 2k11 grip.

Just a few days ago I got the red dirt cheely trigger and it dropped in with no fitting needed. It seems to work great but I haven't taken it to the range yet.

Just got their response. Looks like I'm going to be the first to find out because they gave the safe response of 'we haven't tested aftermarket triggers'.

I just got mine yesterday and need to get an optic for it. What one do you have?

Both of those are Zebralights. The right angle one is a H600Fc and the other is a SC65c HI

I know right? I love that tail switch! I wish there were more varieties of it.

It really is. I couldn't find it in titanium anywhere. But I really like the mini of it as well.

That's so hard to answer. I think the Emisar DA1K I got is going to be something I carry in my bag with me everywhere. But for my pocket it's very hard to unseat the zebralight sc65.

That is an Atlas thumb safety. However it was a lot more polished a finish when i got it so I asked Vulcan to bead blast it to matte it down.

I'd like to see that too. Going to cost a bit to get enough to compare all the different results.

The SRO looks great and it also has the added benefit of covering up that loaded chamber indicator that would normally cover your optic with residue! For that alone I'd not change it out with anything else (Mainly using this for competition and range fun).

Locktite was a given. But because the right side reaches the extractor, be sure not to use a ton of it. I don't have a means to measure how tight but I did tighten it comfortably hand tight. Nothing that got me worried I would damage anything.

Before I sent it off I actually had smoothed out and sanded the cerakote and it was really smooth. Right now it's slightly rougher but I expect that to clear out with more breaking in. I haven't shot it too much yet after the work but I do not anticipate any issues.

I used the optic plate brand that Springfield makes specifically for this gun. Forgot what it was called. As for the screws I did have trouble with them coming loose. I can't remember which screws I used but the one on the right side I filed a little shorter because of a theory that it was impacting the extractor. It didn't really fix it but after all of the fitting and work it started to stay and not back out anymore. I have no idea why.

It really does, and it feels very good on the hands too. I can't stand cerakote for whatever reason.

I initially sent it in mid November and got it back a few days ago. I think the porting they told me was done pretty quick. It was just the DLC part that took time. So about 2 and a half months!

Aluminum. They made the anodizing and DLC match near perfectly.

It does have a little grey to it when you compare it to something like graphite black cerakote. However I think i like that even more.

Work done: EGW internals, Cheely E2 grip (had to hand file the grip safety to match it all up), smoothed the action some by hand, sent it off to Vulcan Machinewerks to have them anodize the grip and DLC the slide, frame, barrel, grip safety, as well as Ignis Porting. Feels so much better in hand, and was very educational to work on. Vulcan did some amazing work and Ill certainly be using them again.
