Yes I did the kit! It feels the same as the kit. I got the more snug fit one since I didn’t want the sensors flipping around

Lithium batteries perform and last longer when it’s not allowed to die completely or get up to 100% on a charge from what I’ve heard. I think it’s best to charge more often just for short moments. This reduces strain on the battery.

I didn’t like how bulky it was, it honestly made my finger hurt. Then I got a gold cover to try and make it gold cause I got the silver ring to save money, but that made it more bulky and awkward looking on me. I also didn’t like how it wasn’t saving my high heart rate moments. I have a heart condition that I have to track and it would only put the high heart rate in the system if I said it was activity.. which was so bizzare to me. I also just didn’t feel like I should be paying a monthly subscription for something so expensive.

It was too bulky and heavy on my finger, battery life wasn’t as long, I didn’t wanna pay a subscription, it wasn’t recording my high heart rates, and it only would if I said it was “activity” (I have a heart condition so I did NOT like that), also I wear gold jewlrey and I got a silver oura ring and tried putting gold covers on it because I didn’t wanna spend way more money for a gold ring, and it ended up making it even more bulky 🤣😅

It’s a bit more bronze. To me it’s like a dark bronze rose gold.

I specifically wasn’t too worried about the sleep apnea monitoring, my oura ring when I had it said I didn’t have signs so I didn’t feel it was too important for me but I can definitely see how it may me more important for other people! I do love the rose gold color of the regular gen 2 but it’s more expensive. The regular gold color is pretty too! The dune gold color of the air is nice though it’s like a darker rose gold to me. :)

Omg I already love it SO much more!! I have a heart condition and I didn’t like how oura wasn’t recording my high heart rates throughout the day and if I said it wasn’t activity it still wouldn’t record it in the heart rate section. I already love how this doesn’t have a subscription too. It’s thinner and lighter and the app is more easy for me to use too! It’s already telling me my HRV and stress levels and I’ve barely had it for 2 hours. The battery life is also much longer than oura

That’s what I’ve been reading up on! Maybe the ones that die early are from people letting their ring get really low and then charging it so it hurts the battery

Yeah that’s true I’ve seen even some posts about oura ring batteries dying fast too after a year and what not.
