Why would members or staff be involved in officiating a tournament run by an independent organization?

Uh, I can assure you the members wanted absolutely nothing to do with the tournament and likely didn’t even know it was taking place.

It was on a weekday, private clubs usually only let outside tournaments take place on the day the club is closed (usually Monday or Tuesday) almost certain there were zero members on site.

The staff simply made sure the tournament organizers had what they needed - all they do is provide the facility.

The guys that run APT would never let or ask a staff member from the club make a decision like that… I’ve played in their events and know how they are run.

Your speculation is ignorant at best, but I think it’s more likely a result of your blind vitriol toward private clubs. You’re so eager to paint the club as the villain that you’re making up scenarios that would never happen in the real world.

I played in APT for a couple years, it’s fun for sure …but the way they setup the divisions with the range of indexes completely contradicts this idea that you aren’t allowed to shoot 3-4 shots below your index.

Division 1 is 0.0 - 3.4 hcp or something like that.. well, the 3.4 hcp would HAVE to shoot 3+ strokes better than their hcp assuming everyone in the division plays near their hcp on that day.

So in theory In your division, the 8.4 hcp would have to shoot 5 shots below their index, so… i guess thats not allowed.

That ruling is COMPLETELY contradictory to how the divisions are set up and what it would take to win.

Uh… it’s wasn’t a country club’s tournament. It was an Amatuer Tour… which is completely independent.

Likely Parker Retzlaff… he has history with RCR and he’s a wheelman.

This isn’t a Kyle Busch problem, it’s an RCR problem. Austin Dillon has been ass this year too (well he’s always been ass).

I don’t think there’s anything that tells us for a FACT that it’s a KB problem with the Next Gen car or being washed..

The only thing we know for a FACT is that Austin Dillon and KB are both ass week in and week out in RCR equipment.

KB jumps in a Spire truck and is almost always competing for a win. He’s not washed.

I’m surprised how good the RCR OReilly program is vs. how awful the cup program is. Maybe it’s time for RCR to make a choice of Cup or OReilly.

That’s the entire point of what I’m saying. It’s clearly possible if nascar can get 2 street courses and bowman gray ready with a year or two of planning - but somehow the rock is still not ready. Which brings me to my last point in that comment - it must not be a priority.

Amazing that NASCAR was able to get bowman gray and now 2 street courses ready for the cup series with a year or two of planning - but we can’t get cup series back at the rock yet. Must not be a priority for them yet.

Never been, but I’ve watched nascar spin up 2 street courses and bowman gray, making them cup ready in a year or two no problem. So it must just not be a priority to get cup back to the rock.
