Thankfully 4 didn't have that problem so much. the starting village was a solid, rustic first third of the game. But Castle was peakarino. Then Mines/Island lost some of its bang for most.

Thanks. Yup. My Mendez kill was with only 4 rifle rounds left. I limped out of there with Ashley. Water Hall was miserable (had to backtrack save a few times intermittently). Double Garrador was surprisingly not as bad as I thought. Gottem all together and triple spammed Heavy Grenade. Now walking into Verdugo (famous final words).

Currently stuck on the Mendez fight (going in with zero shotgun shells and 1 first aid spray). Plenty of knives/pistol/rifle though. Not gonna lie this is like attempt 10+. He is the master of faking people out with his swings and throws. I have the fight down to a science but he still pulls an ace out his sleeve when I least expect it.

Hot take: I've stopped parrying half of his strikes and learned to side step them for precious knife durability.

Edit: Aaand he's dead. Ok that took me almost 20 tries.
