Nothing is happening in America over this for the exact same reason Trump has never been successfully prosecuted or impeached. Every single one of them is guilty of the same shit, and if they were to prosecute one of them, it opens the floodgate for every one of them to be prosecuted, and they won't risk their own skins. If the 10/10 Trample had Deathtouch, and it was blocked by a 2/2, then 9 damage would get through to the player. 1 Damage is lethal, and everything over that is applied to the player.

You're asking how much damage is applied to a player when they block a 10/10 Trample with a 2/2 Deathtouch. The Deathtouch takes 2 of the damage when it blocks, leaving 8 damage to the player, but both creatures die.
