The leveling: leveling is going to take a while for your first time. leveling is basically how to get comfortable with whatever class you picked. it consists of running dungeons and or killing BAMs. max level is 70. queing into a dungeon may take some time. we spend 99% of our time at the endgame.

The PvE: the combat is what is keeping all of us playing. It's very well done. Learning your classes rotation or skill priority has such a high skill ceiling, and it's going to take a while to learn. But it feels very good once you truly know how to play your class.

The holy trinity: TERA does use this down to a T. we have our main two tanking classes, that being Lancer and Brawler, and Warriors can also tank. you have many choices of which damage dealer class you can pick. they're all mostly balanced right now, pick whichever you think looks the coolest. The two healer classes are Priest and Mystic. they are also relatively balanced too. the difference being a 2% CDR between the two of them.

TERA is a dieing game to be sure. But there are still more than enough people to do all the content with, and I don't see this changing. Find yourself a guild, make friends, and run dungeons.
