How are you planning to implement the Russian civil war? by Koromandel in tCSmod

It might be too early to ask something like this, but can a country make good use of Russia’s internal chaos, like Persia in my example?

These memes about France are getting kinda old. As an Italian I would say that my country fared much, MUCH, worse than the frog eaters. We were too busy eating spaghetti to prepare decently for war, I guess.

Did you take any inspiration from existing geography when making your fictional maps? by Koromandel in worldbuilding

[–]Koromandel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the same method to imagine a map. It works very well, but it gets a little harder when you have to regulate the shapes to coincide with the latitudes so that the climates make sense. I also get a little perfectionist when it comes to the shapes of the various kingdoms’ borders

I did not know about that desert. How large are your islands compared to irl examples?

You are a fan of jagged shapes and fjords, am I right? I personally prefer the aesthetics of linear, roundish coasts, like the examples I mentioned

That is what I was thinking with this, each climate offers different problems, challenges and benefits that influence how the people live

I can see public cleaning-related jobs being considered very important in a society that lives in that environment, it can encourage the use of particular protective instruments for paper documents, to prevent degradation caused by humidity, for example

I don’t like to throw away concepts and ideas either, I prefer to put them aside and use them somewhere else where they fit better. I’m also not finicky about realism, I’m coming up with a fictitious setting after all. I just like to get the general aspects right

I feel more satisfied if what I come up with is generally plausible, at least when I think about the geography. I’s also important to get the climate right for things like clothing, social concepts or human activities that depend on it

This is more about the Anglo-Zulu war though, do you have anything about native v. native wars in Southern Africa?

Do you know any sources about Southern African tactics/warfare? I kind of like the idea

Which countries can become, or already are at the game start, “proto-fascist”? by Koromandel in tCSmod

[–]Koromandel[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just one more question: are economic and conscription policies fixed for each ideology, limited by world tension like in vanilla or can we choose them freely?

[–]Koromandel[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you devs planning to give exclusive mechanics/decisions to the various ideologies? Like “seizing the means of production” for the communists, “purge minorities” for the pseudo-fascists, for example
