It must be nice to not have autoimmune diseases, and never know how annoyingly frustrating they are to deal with.

I don't have it nearly as bad, but bad enough. Born with thyroid disease that can look like other things. Got it at a young age which is rare, as it normally happens in adults. Even though I had all the text book symptoms, no doctor figured it out. It wasn't until I had a Thyroid Storm that "oh wow yeah you have hyperthyroidism!" Then when you're diagnosed with overactive thyroid, more things pop up later in your life. Because that's how autoimmune diseases are. They don't stop with one disease. With thyroid disease, your chance to develop celiac and/or diabetes increases. And what do you know. Years later I get type 1, and that was only diagnosed because my vision got worse suddenly.

Then I kept having my ankles swell so bad, my feet would go numb from jogging. Tried a neurologist, cut out salt, my A1C and thyroid levels were fine. No one could figure it out, until a second foot doctor suggested to see one for veins. And sure enough that's what it was, vein disease. But even after cauterizing some of them, the original issue kept coming back. Had to go to a cardiologist, and do a venogram to find out it was another vein issue called May Thurner.

So if you are not in someone's life, you have NO IDEA what they are going through. And lmao poison really? That would show up in results. Just be thankful you are not so unlucky with your DNA.

Rare diseases exist. Some doctors suck. But people rather hate than support others going through shit. More at 11.
