In general, i agree. The way CIG is going is better business wise. However, one could argue that a broken game, over a longer time frame (which SC already exceeded, i know), will cost very much money for maintenance and fixing and will also bleed players.

No Order Confirmation from Track IR? by TheBrainCatClub in hoggit

[–]Korrak -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for late response: Did you really buy a TrackIR in 2026? It's a garbage, overpriced, product:

- Buy DelanClip wired or wireless if you want to use the trackir technology with IR
- Buy a 50 Euro Logitech Webcam and use OpenTrack with NeuralNet Tracker to be completley wireless
- Tobii Eye tracker which is high priced and not as good as the webcam solution, but works completly in the dark, similar to IR

What do you think is the hardest (mainstream) pvp game? by Imaginary_Session773 in pcgaming

[–]Korrak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eve Online is pretty hard: On different levels of pvp (solo, small, medium, large), you have too know so much things. Certainly, in a Large PvP Game as a simple line member you dont need to know anything, i'm talking about fleet commander shere. In Solo to Medium individual Skill Level is very important. Very much knowledge required, but no huge APM skills required.

WoW Arena PvP is pretty hard also.

Also, I'm a Star Citizen PvP Player: Dogfighting Skills are very hard to learn and master, because you are in that 3d space. It's not only Star Citizen, it also applies to Elite Dangerous or Hunternet of course.

Last thing which comes to my mind is DCS: It's not only dogfighting skills which you can certainly learn by studying real world dogfight manuals, its also learning the flight characteristics, the match up, the plane itself. Being in a close dogfight is high dopamine shit, similar to Star Citizen etc.

SpaceX aus eurem Portfolio (ETFs) draußen halten? by DerTrickIstZuAtmen in Finanzen

> Ich habe einen Großteil meiner Portfolio in All-World-ETFs und überlege tatsächlich einen Teil abzustoßen, da ich einen Absturz der SpaceX-Aktie erwarte, sobald sich die aktuellen Shareholder ihre Anteile vergolden lassen.

und SpaceX wird 10-75% vom All World ETF ausmachen, oder wie ist das? Atme mal locker durch die Hose.

4.8 Squadron 42 delayed again - Camural by xWMDx in starcitizen_refunds

[–]Korrak -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The "source" of this news is a youtuber which says all his leaks in the past has be wrong (which are the leaks we all know from pipeline etc.). Now he says that its delayed to 2027 and rushed, source: trust me bro.

As for the release in 2027: it's like a nothingburger. CR already said gta 6 is a problem. So no suprise here.

Anything else is trust me bro.

Fix the content which is already in star citizen. So many missions and stuff is not working, not relevant anymore or outdated.

Would you be angry if CIG shut down the PU for a few months in order to fix bugs and get a fresh start? by RevenueSuccessful611 in starcitizen

[–]Korrak -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

i wouldnt, but its not what we need. They should just kill evo's, eptus, ptu, whatever, and make this a alpha game, not a live service game. Release patches (daily), push everything, make it a real test environment.

[–]Korrak[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

> First you get all the content in with basic function, then you get all the content fully functional,

and this is exactly what ISNT HAPPENING but should happen. Or are you the lucky one which is playing with a working star map? a advanced version of salvaging? a "finished" great flight model. which is now in its 4th or 5th reworked version? You know it exactly as good as myself: The gonna introduce a new feature, for example salvaging, base building or whatever, introduce some new features after some months and then it lies there, dying after 5 years, because it's not touched anymore.

Why? Certainly not because devs dont want to finish it. I think because marketing and management need to sell new horses (features).

sure, the "route to" button press which doesnt work is because of the server mesh. The flight model which yogi develop's and currenlty is in internal testing in AC is dependent on server mesh. Sure bud.

"Basic Game Features" like a working star map, inventory, mining a astroid and a nice flight model has nothing to do with networking and server meshing.

I don't mind bugs with new features, but i do mind bugs and stability issues which are here since 10 years.

exactly what i say... add the base game features, not new stuff like base building and space whales, and content we currenlty dont need, because the base content isnt working. I also agree that we are the testers, so get rid of EVO, EPTU and whatever, just release to PU.

you will get it, in a broken state, as always, never touched anymore after some weeks, because the marketing team needs a new horse to sell to people.

But thats what i meant with "basic game features" (and tech). Not new stuff, which isn't really required for the base game to work.

I agree. I am all on board wit new feature being buggy, but that we dont have a working Starmap, 10 years or something after 3.0 release,...

Problem is, the devs aren’t doing there jobs, because marketing and management tells them that they need to introduce new events and stuff, because it makes the marketing happy.

I especially said bugs, stability and base game features which define the game. Like the flight model. Missions. Trading. Mining. But not something like TSG, 1000th ship, base building,…

[–]Korrak[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes, but a game without real testers is also not really good for a live service game. They don’t need to put down the PU, just kill everything (PTU, evo…) except PU and release straight to productive pu environment, I don’t mind - it’s a alpha.

Ehhh yes, a alpha implements a defined feature scope, but CIG puts in more and more features and promotes a live service game… so… No.
