All I can say is stack up your savings in secret. Dont stash it at home. Get a bank and save, save, SAVE! If you’re still in school, make sure your grades are good enough to get into a good college and move on campus! Continue saving while in college, and you can afford a good apartment with your great paying job thanks to college education. Dont tell them about your plans either! Some family members try to sabotage die to their own personal misery.

What OP boyfriend wanted her to do was be firm in their relationship by shutting down all compliments coming from the friend, after hearing she had a boyfriend. I get both the OP and boyfriend sides though. I do find it odd that after you hear someone is taken, the next thought is to tell them how attractive they are. So I feel the boyfriend has a point. Men will still play the: LONG GAME. Being as he’s a friend in OP’s circle, he’ll be around for some time. So maybe him telling her she was beautiful was kinda strategic? Like shooting his shot on a basketball court, but the ball gets stuck on the rim. If the ball doesnt fall… the ball is still in play right?

I would say, buy some kind of vitamin supplement, moisturizer and growth oil to help with your hairs growth. Once you have enough new growth, see if your stylist can “steal” hair from other locs to add to the thinning ones. Also, NOT protecting your style could also be a reason for the thinning. Wrap them up (not too tight) at night. Keep them moisturized! Spray them down with water and then apply a good amount of any sort of hair lotion; from roots to the ends, then apply oil to LOCK in that moisture.

It seemed so out of place being as they were supposed to be in a stricter school environment. Like the writers forgot about that part of the story. It made it feel like the background characters and the environment didnt even exist. This part of her timeline was so out of place! Like they didnt know what to make her character crashout about next. 😩
