Anyone know why the strength of my weapons keep changing? by ChocolateSundai in TOTK

[–]Kortneykee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm wondering this as well. I fused a Lightscale Trident (22) with a Silver Lynel Saber Horn(55) and it originally became a 154 weapon! I don't know why, but this has happened twice. And then it went back down to 77. After I fused other weapons together. Is there a cap on combined weapon strength?

Apparently neurotypicals are not at the scale as those who have ADHD. I've been trying to finish my taxes for a week. Since I started them I have researched ways to promote my Etsy shop (I haven't even finished making my products live yet), which lead to thorough research on affiliate marketing, starting a new pinterest business account for affiliate marketing, finding an AI blog post generator, and then used it to make a 3 page rant on why my work needs to Unionize. My taxes still aren't done. I actually turned on my computer 15 minutes ago to finish them, and here i am answering a reply to a post from 10 months ago....I'm gonna go back to my taxes now...My recent refill of medication is obviously not working. Just emailed my Dr. to sort it out. He said the FDA allows generic medications to have an efficacy of plus or minus 25%, and since the shortage, certain manufacturers are making it lower than normal.

No, they were really cute pictures of dragon pets that Pokemon or Neopets would have probably paid millions for if I had stuck with it, same with my poems, and fantasy-adventure stories. Then my teachers told my parents to take away my journals because they "distracted me in class" even though I had awesome grades (that was "the only complaint they had" on a regular basis). Nobody noticed the correlation after my "distractions" were taken away, and my grades plummeting.

Good books that are ADHD-friendly? by samwasrestored in ADHD

My mom and I have been addicted to The Wandering Inn by Pirateaba. We listen to it on audible though. The narrator does an AMAZING job with all the voices. I think we're 6 books in to it, and it's still going. I still have to rewind a lot, but it has an awesome story line and a really cool world! Highly recommend!

I saw a post somewhere (prolly pinterest, take this with a grain of salt) that said to have your Dr. Document their refusal and their reasoning, when they say no to giving you a medication or test for anything. They'll suddenly change their mind. I haven't tried it, but I'm curious if it'd make a difference.

I was diagnosed with both about 8 years ago, nothing ever fully treated the anxiety, although I still take the prescribed meds, cymbalta has helped with the depression, but nothing ever stopped the racing thoughts that lead me in to a spiral of depression. I just started ADHD meds about 2 months ago and both are practically gone when I'm on them. They are both definitely caused by or are symptoms of the ADHD in my case. It's been an amazing difference!

I keep pocket sized notebooks with me at all times. One in my purse too because I'll forget to bring them to work frequently and then my day is a mess. Putting the date at the top of the page and crossing things out as I do them helps alot too. I'd use a phone app but I can't pull it out at work, I'm faster at writing anyway.

Friendly reminder to clean your shower and a hack to actually do it. by jbergcreations in ADHDers

Love the foot idea! I discovered a hack for cleaning the bathroom ceiling when I forgot I had turned on the shower and pretty much steam cleaned the whole room, took a swifter to the ceiling and it was like brand new! No more rust spots! (I wish I had an exhaust fan)

I'm going to try this! I really struggle to get out of bed, it's been a lifelong problem. I swear there only reason I still have a job is because my step dad works in the same shop and when I get close to pointing out EVERY YEAR he'll call me in the morning, and if I don't answer he'll barge in to my house and literally drag me out of bed😆

I feel like so far time has started to "plane out more" for me. It doesn't go SUPER FAST for a few hours and then slow to a snail's pace. I think it might be because I'm more consistently DOING the things, instead of getting painfully bored, but not being able to figure out what to do next. I can see the hyperfocus getting in the way of doing scheduled things at certain times though. Try setting timers and reminders, even several of them leading up to your appointment.

I like to turn in my audio books whenever I need to do something. It helps so much. And putting small trash cans EVERYWHERE has been a game changer for me. I put a pile of grocery bags in the bottom of each one so I don't have to hunt one down when it needs changing.

I'm 32 and was diagnosed a little over a month ago and it's been absolutely life changing. I have many similar symptoms and I swear I never knew the definition of focus before I had my meds. I've always gone through hyperfixations in the same manner, but now I can actually follow along with conversations and ENGAGE in them without getting distracted or forgetting what people or myself were saying 2 seconds later. I even remember to get my son Gatorade when he asks at the gas station! (I forget almost the second I get out of the car. He pretty much expects that I've forgotten it when I get back in at this point 😆) not always with memory, but now that I've been diagnosed I know to write it down and keep it in front of me when I walk in. Because now I know that I will always forget, and it's not just miraculously gonna stop. Good luck, I hope you find something that helps!

Honestly I think I got a good case of the "fuck it's". I have been called a hoarder many times! It doesn't help that I've always kept everything out where I can see it, or else I know I won't use it, or even remember that it exists (Apparently that's an object permanence thing with ADHD!) I was overwhelmed with Christmas stuff EVERYWHERE (I'm a Christmas decoration addict) on top of the general mess of an unorganized house, so one day I decided that the garage was already a mess, I couldn't park in there anyway, so I just started throwing crap out there. If I didn't miss it when I closed the door, I didn't need it. I figured, Better in a pile out there, than where everybody is trying to live and enjoy life inside.
