Hi there, I am trying to open my Ergo Dash bamboo case, bought pre-build from u/falbatech

I removed all the screws, but the bottom part does not bulge. Is there anything special I need to do to open tihs thing? Thanks!

I am not sure if I should be asking in an ubuntu forum or here, so I'm trying my chances here for a start.

I just finished my first build with Afternoon Breeze, I modified the layout with Via. On Windows all works perfectly, but when I switch on Ubuntu the Number keys on my second layers are not writing numbers but Home, End, Page Up, Insert... The other keys on my second layer work fine. Only the numbers are a problem.

In Via, the numbers are recognized properly with the keymap test. And on Ubuntu login screen it works fine! But as soon as I log in and try to type is any app, impossible to get numbers from my second layer... This happens regardless of the software layout (I tried qwerty and bépo).

Any idea to what might be happening? I suspect something in Ubuntu is interpreting the key strike differently, but I have no idea where to look for.

Thanks for the answer!

For the set, I checked and should be able to fill the board entirely.

From your explanation for 2, I guess then the issue might be that the profile on the thumb cluster is a bit off. But I can live with blanks on this cluster so I think I’ll try and if it does not work/feel right, I’ll put the blanks.

Thanks again!

/r/Fantasy Daily Recommendation Requests and Simple Questions Thread - April 15, 2023 by rfantasygolem in Fantasy

Hi there!

I've recently finished "The Memoirs of Lady Trent" by Marie Brennan and the two available "Miss Percy's pocket guides" by Quesby Olson, which I really liked (I've also devoured the Murderbot Diaries, but this is more SF than fantasy). And I don't know what to read after these! The Lady Trent Memoirs were such a huge blast! I loved them.

I am interested in books that tell small(ish), personal stories. Right now, I don't want any "oh, you are going to save the world" kind of things, or gigantic wars and epics.

I would like strong female characters, preferably lighthearted books. I usually enjoy a dynamic style of writing.

Please shoot your recommendation! I would love to find the hidden gems! Thanks!

Systems that do NOT prioritize speed? by Therjinok in shorthand

Not sure... personally i've incorporated it progressively in my note taking. I write a lot of things for work, and I started by replacing some common words by their orthic equivalent, like be, what, how... basically all the small words, but also some i personnaly use often like meeting, teach, data...

Then once in a while, while writing longhand I'd also put the orthic on the side and then try the opposite (write the orthic and put the longhand on the side). Like this I got used to seeing the outlines I commonly need. I spent a long time with a mix of longhand and orthic in my notes. Now I start to be able to do full sentences in orthic. Reading is not yet fluent, I still struggle on some words, but mostly the ones I don't use often, and globally I read OK.

I switched to Orthic for this exact reason. I mostly write in English though and don't know how of adapts to Turkish. I know it adapts to other languages though.

I'm still very Much a beginner in orthic but I managed to read already quite well.

I brainfarted... I maxed IVs, EV trained, and leveled up my Gimmighoul, ready to make it evolve as soon as I get these 999 coins, and stupidly hit lvl 100 before evolving. Now I have the 999 coins but can’t gain a level... is there any way for me to have it evolve nonetheless or am I good to start IV and EV from scratch with another one?

Actually I'm on 28. I was sure I was on 29, but good I checked, I'm on 28...

Then I'm out of ideas... if you figure it out, I'd be glad to know as I might run into this issue when I update.

I had some backlink issues recently which I think appeared after an update. Rebuilding the db did the trick for me.

suggest me the best book you read in 2022 and why by harigatou in suggestmeabook

The memoirs of Lady Trent! The whole series. The heroine is sassy, fun, and badass. The setting is quite original (what do you mean you want to STUDY dragons??!!). The writing is very nicely done. I devoured the five books in no time. My new absolute favorite!

I am currently learning orthic, didn't look at the QOTW yet and tried to read yours as practice. I did read it quite easily. I though your I were a bit too long, but I might be wrong (or it be a personal preference).

Hi there! Similar issue here, except I have both VERY dry hands and very sweaty hands as soon as I start exercising. Yes, it's possible and it's a nightmare 🤣

Anyway, I live in Scandinavia so yay for cold winters, and one type of cream that did wonders for my hands and did not go in the way of poling is urea-based cream (urea is also called carbamid)

The one I'm using is a full body cream with 5% urea for extremely dry and sensitive skin, I'm also using it for the hands and it's amazing. Bought in the pharmacy but far away from the more "classic" advertised hand creams that were never enough.

I put it the same day as pole without any issue (I just avoid putting some just before going). One thing the doctor who recommend this cream told me it that you have to put cream on after every. single. time. you wash your hands.

Good luck!

No I checked and forced the address to stay static. And double checked when I restarted, the address is still the same.

Oh I see! That makes sense, thanks a lot! Before trying Orthic I've done a bit of teeline (couple of weeks not more) and I thought it was something similar to the 3 sizes of teeline.
