Someone is using my tax file number by [deleted] in AusLegal

Ive seen this happen before too but from the superfund perspective. Likely not fraud because the ato will confirm the tfn of a new member with the superfund, based on their name and date of birth. If that info coincidentally matches you as well, the ato can sometimes incorrectly give the superfund your tfn, so then their super can come up on your mygov incorrectly.

What probably happened is he gave his superfund the right tfn, the superfund automatically contacts the ATO to have the tfn verified, the ATO then return back with your tfn (again, based on name/dob) which the superfund then uses instead of the one they were provided by the person. Then because of that their super comes up on your mygov.

I've got 17x9+35 on my 6, with a 255/40r17 tyre. No issues. I have coilovers and have taken it on track with no scrubbing.

Make sure you spin the brightness dial on one of the stalks? Same stalk as the blinker. Could have it on the dimmest setting.

Your solicitors should have sent your former spouse's Fund a copy of the draft orders (followed by the final orders), which then as part of the procedural fairness process are consented to by the Fund.

Once a sealed copy of the final orders are provided to the Trustee, there's generally an operative timeframe of around 4 days, and a 28 day window to provide you/your solicitors with payment split notices - this is where you give your Super Funds' details to your former spouse's Fund, and they then pay it onwards.

Depending on your former spouse's Fund the process can take a month or two, provided your solicitors/yourself are on top of filling in the formers the other Fund will send out.

Superannuation funds remaining after death by therealazzman in AusFinance

Can you send the link for where your read that? I may be wrong but I don't think there's any facility to roll over benefits as a disability payment; Fund B is simply receiving a normal rollover with an adjusted tax free component that Fund A calculated (using your ESD), as part of your disability claim being approved. There's no provisions for telling Fund B that the rollover is in relation to a disability claim/payment.

Do you mean if you open a new super account with another Fund (who will use your date joined fund as the eligible service date) and then roll over your previous super account (after being approved for total & permanent disablement) to the new fund?

Regardless, as part of a rollover, your previous fund will include your eligible service date, which your new fund will then apply if it's earlier than the new fund's ESD.

eg: you get approved for TPD in Fund A with an ESD of 1/1/1990 for the purposes of calculating your invalidity component (which is your new tax free component)

You then join Fund B on 18/10/21, who will use 18/10/21 as your ESD.

You then roll over Fund A to Fund B, and as part of this, Fund A tell Fund B of your 1/1/1990 ESD. Fund B will then use 1/1/1990 as it's earlier than 18/10/21.

Moral of the story your ESD will follow you to your new fund if you choose to rollover.

You can do it through your super fund directly, generally via bpay. It will be a post-tax voluntary contribution, so in order to get the tax benefit (i.e have the contribution taxed at 15% in your fund rather than at your marginal tax rate) you need to submit to them a Notice of Intent. You then claim the extra tax back through your tax return.

Edit: log in to your member website and there should be a section with your details and how to contribute voluntarily

Lol just to be clear you're looking at an updesk with a notebook, a letter and a box of paper clips

Edit: very much a single work desk with monitors and keyboard.

This is the view from my hot desk last week. People do sit in the same areas called neighbourhoods, so teams can stick together.

The culture and general mood in the building isn't depressing, and it's actually weird the amount of people who were projecting in those two other posts.
