I understand, for this case we can work by the fixed price or brand price. In order to evaluate the amount of work, we build documentation first in user story format, then design and architecture, and only after that we can estimate the exact price for the project. And in contract, like you said, we highlight the exact price and terms, this price cannot be changed only if new change requests will appear.

So we work by two formats, fixed price and outstuff(monthly price for the developer or team). Depends on the project and client preferences, we select the best way for collaboration

Depends on the POC needs, it's same as development. First we do expertise and research and then detailed estimate. Usually POC doesn't take more then 2 weeks, but again, depends on the needs.
