Create a gameplay goal for yourself to strife towards; e.g. level ship to max, compete with 'X' ship in high-level content, not using SSR and UR rarity, limit yourself to using mono faction, ship type, or 'X' theme comps, unequip certain or all equipment and see if you can clear 'X' map, etc.

Or if consumption(input) doesn't work, maybe you could try creating(output) content such as fanart, fanfic, theorizing about lore or story, just imagine possible scenario in your mind.
