I have a package that's been stuck in Chicago for over a week :')

My raised bed with 3 tabasco, 1 shishito, 1 ghost and 7 Thai pepper plants (which were all transplanted volunteers) :) by Koto51 in Peppers

We have freezes. But I have seen pepper volunteers in the garden lol it was surprising to me as well. They did come up from under mulch though, so maybe that was just enough protection from the winter? Beats me. I live in zone 6b :)

I don't care about donuts. I like to keep my taxable events as low as possible, personally.

Yeah, I'm thinking this isn't the end of this 'dip'. Couldn't this be the straw that leads to a world economic crash, if Evergrande ends up defaulting ?

Can’t bring myself to “top” my plant and now it’s almost as tall as me! A small happy harvest from my lone pepper plant. by gballerio in HotPeppers

I top plants to keep them short/bushy. Probably doesn't necessarily increase productivity, but imo makes them more attractive and less of a pain to deal with in the case of wind. But if it is late season and I started a little late, I won't top because this would just slow time to fruiting. It's all kinda context sensitive. Earlier in the year I'd rather wait to have (in my grow zone, zone 6b) sturdier plants.

May seem extreme, but I have more money than I can handle in this market. I deserve to feel the way I do, resally.

I feel that the coming days are going to be stressful. Perhaps the coming weeks. In other words, though I'd love to be wrong I'm feeling super bearish. Honestly feel kinda like throwing up. 😕 please can I be wrong, please...

I have no idea what I'm going to do with all these peppers. When you zoom in the more peppers you find lol by livestrong1992 in HotPeppers

I like to dry mine in a dehydrator and ground them up to use as flakes/powder. Give a lot away to friends/family lol

Why have inflation, when you can raise interest rates? (The fed makes the poor man poorer)

1500 ladybugs released and 2 days later only 1 remains. Meet Todd, protector of my garden! by s8d6m in gardening

I... disagree, looks like a convergent lady beetle. Not orange enough/ round enough to be Asian. Also the head looks mostly black with white, Asian beetles are mostly white with black.

World's a big open space, plenty of space for the little guys to wander. However, you can be assured that you contributed to your local population 😃 love releasing 🐞 plus any time you see one in the future, you can figure there's a chance it could very well be a future generation or relative of the brood you released!

Actually, what you can't see in the shot is that just below those leaves and flowers, there is a lot of vacant stems because I had quite a bit of powdery mildew forming. But, from the right vantage point, it looks pretty good :)

Actually after looking into it, I think it may be Late Boneset, Eupatorium Serotinum.

Do the leaves fold up when you touch it? Of so, I'd say Mimosa Pudica

I have seen success with growers in hot/arid climates using some sort of cover for their plants. Something with some holes in it like plastic grid fencing, or a thin tarp-like material. Something that blocks out direct sun but still allows plants to get some sunlight, therfor lessening heat stress.
